Powerday gains triple ISO certification

Powerday is delighted to announce that the company has gained its ISO certifications this month for quality management, environmental management and health & safety.

The certifications (ISO9001:2008, ISO14001:2008 and OHSAS18001:2007) cover Powerday’s operations at its Materials Recycling Facility, waste transfer stations and skip hire business.

Powerday appointed a new Health & Safety Manager, Andre Rayson, to oversee the certification process. Andre has worked closely with the Senior Management Team to ensure the company’s operations are fully compliant and to develop a programme of continual improvement for all three certifications going forward.

Managing Director, Mark Bensted says: “As our clients are well aware, Powerday places huge emphasis on quality, health and safety and the environment. We are very pleased to have our commitment and the significant efforts of our staff acknowledged in this formal, internationally recognised way.”
