Powerday hosts Twickenham rugby event

Powerday is delighted to be hosting a hospitality event at this Saturday’s Heineken Cup match between London Irish and Leinster at Twickenham rugby stadium - a game that promises to be the must-see fixture of the final weekend of the Heineken Cup qualification stages.

London Irish has had to move the match against the holders, Leinster, to Twickenham to avoid a possible fixture clash with Reading at the Madejski Stadium. Should Reading defeat Liverpool in their third-round replay at Anfield, they would require the stadium to face Burnley in the FA Cup that afternoon. Therefore London Irish has moved the fixture to Twickenham and is expecting a large and lively crowd for a game that is likely to see the winners qualify for the quarter-finals.

Powerday, the waste and recycling contractor for Twickenham stadium and long term supporter of London Irish, is looking forward to the event.

Mick Crossan, Managing Director, Powerday says: “We are looking forward to a lively match between two great sides and hope our guests enjoy the experience as much as we expect to”.
